As a value's based organisation, the A.G. Coombs Group over many years has made significant contributions to worthy charities, community programs and activities associated with education, including the development of young people, both within our industry as well as the broader community. We are an integral part of the community with responsibilities not only as an employer but as a good corporate citizen.
Charities
Over a number of years the Group has successfully adopted a foundation charity on a year by year basis as a way of consolidating our support and focus in a partnership style to make a clear difference to that particular charity. The Group continues to make significant contributions to a large range of charities however the focus is with the foundation charity.
The current A.G.Coombs Group foundations charity is Challenge.
Challenge is a major provider of programs and services that support children and families living with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders.

One of A.G. Coombs recent activities for Challenge was the provision of new air conditioning for Challenge House. A.G. Coombs personnel volunteered their engineering, drafting, project management, installation and commissioning expertise, and together with key subcontractors donated new plant and materials, transport and cranage. The project had an equivalent value of $70,000.
